The Rugby & District Talking Newspaper for the Blind publishes a weekly 90 minute audio memory stick for 50 weeks of the year. There is no publication for the two weeks of the Christmas period.
For listeners, the memory stick is delivered free of charge by the Royal Mail at the end of each week.
This service is completely free although we welcome any donation to help us to sustain and improve the service.
Each memory stick is about 90 minutes long. It comprises news taken from the Rugby Advertiser and contains useful information, such as births, marriages & deaths, late chemists, weather forecasts and sports news.
Listeners are expected to provide their own player although we can lend a memory stick player in certain circumstances.
There is no longer an audio cassette version of the Talking Newspaper.
